At School: In Social Studies:  This week, we welcomed Hal Eagletail to our school. We were deeply grateful for the knowledge and cultural oral teachings he shared with us. On Thursday, he led a smudge ceremony for all students and staff, where we received a blessing our school grounds and experienced a traditional song. We read Chapter 6 in Tales of the Fourth Grade Nothing,  focusing on summarizing the main events. Students also completed comprehension questions and word work activities. In Math:  We continued our work with decimal place value, focusing on reading, writing, and comparing decimal numbers.  In Science:  We finished our solar system scratch art projects and began researching different constellations!
