At School: In Math:  We practiced ordering numbers from least to greatest and greatest to least. We also used place value to figure out whether a number is 10 or 100 more or less than another number. In Literacy:  We wrote about our long weekend, continued practicing how to expand sentences, and learned how to make nouns plural by adding -s and -es . We also began our Opinion Writing unit and wrote a paragraph about our favourite school subject, including three reasons and examples. In Social Studies:  We began researching an Alberta Physical Region and started creating a brochure highlighting the information we have gathered. In Science:  We discussed how humans impact the Earth’s surface and learned about soil—what it is made of and the different layers it has.
